What? Huh? Holy…..Ew!
The last 3 days here in the great hot state have been interesting to say the least. I developed some sinus infection that has worn on my energy levels to no end. I did manage to cut the grass this morning, and when I came in all done at 12:15, the reel feel temperature outside was up to 103. The first 40 minutes wasn’t too bad with the overcast, but the last 20 minutes was nuts hot. All you Northerners complaining of a heat wave ain’t got nothing on us right now with our humidity. When I got in my car on Friday, this is what my temperature gauge read…
Only thing changed about that was the Watermark. Yep, it felt every bit of those 107 degrees too.
Which leads me to something I discovered today. I saw this on the shelf, and had to snap a pic right away and ask Twitter what the hell was I looking at. Apparently, it IS what I thought it is.
Also, it seems this is a common thing. I think it’s kinda nasty. I mean, where do they get them from? More importantly, who is the first person that saw one of those and thought, hmmmm I bet if I washed my hair with a placenta, my hair would be lush and well moisturized. I want to know, or maybe I don’t, what other things they washed their hair with first before they got to a placenta. All I know is I’m gonna start reading labels more carefully before I start rubbing stuff into my scalp. Maybe I’m just a naive man, but I still think there are better options out there.

Balls hot is an understatement.

Apparently placenta products of all kinds have been used for millenia. One of the gross stories shared during my childbirth class was that thousands of years ago (and even now occasionally in tribal communities) it was common to prepare and cook the placenta for the new mom’s first meal after childbirth. Gag.
As a fellow Floridian, it has been insanely hot this last week. I will be hiding under my a/c vents until the temperature gets out of the triple digits.

Fake!!
Pics appear to be fabricated, based on a quick look. Could be mistaken.
